The Foundations of Tejas Paint & Body for University Park Drivers
We are a family-owned body shop that has been on Fort Worth Ave since 1981. Our customers come to us for honest communication and careful work.
Xavier is your contact for every step. Before delivery, we check each repair under our hexagonal LED inspection lights, which show color differences and small flaws that normal light can hide.
Getting to Our Shop from University Park
University Park is a city surrounded by Dallas, just north of Highland Park. Our shop is on Fort Worth Ave, west of downtown and just north of I-30.
From University Park, you can take US-75 (Central Expressway) or the Dallas North Tollway south toward downtown. From there, take Woodall Rodgers Freeway west to the Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge, cross to Singleton Boulevard and head south on Sylvan Avenue to Fort Worth Ave. You can also continue to I-30 west and exit near Sylvan Avenue. Drive time depends on traffic.
We are open Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
Since the drive takes some planning, most University Park customers start with photos. Once we have talked about the repair, you can pick a day to bring the car in.
Common Repairs for University Park Drivers
University Park has campus traffic, game-day crowds, busy shopping areas and tight residential parking. Here is what that often means for your car:
Campus and game-day parking damage: Crowded lots and street parking lead to dings and scrapes. Our dent repair and bumper repair fix them.
Student and family fender benders: Small collisions happen in busy traffic. Our collision repair restores structure, panels and paint.
Scratches and scuffs: Close parking can leave scratches along doors and bumpers. Our auto painting matches your factory color.
Spring hail: North Texas storms can damage a whole street of cars at once. Our hail damage repair handles the dents and paint.
If your repair involves insurance, our insurance claims help keeps the process clear.
Parents of students often call us on behalf of their kids. That is fine. We are happy to talk with whoever is handling the repair and explain the options in plain words.
