We do not have a location in DeSoto. Our only shop is on Fort Worth Ave, and we serve DeSoto drivers from there. If you need auto body repair in DeSoto and want a shop that treats you like a neighbor, we are worth the drive.
We repair collision damage, hail, dents, bumpers and paint, and we help with insurance claims. You can start with photos, and Xavier will be your contact through the repair. If you are not sure the damage is worth fixing, just ask. We will give you a straight answer.
The Foundations of Tejas Paint & Body for DeSoto Drivers
We are family-owned and have been on Fort Worth Ave since 1981. Customers tell us they like knowing exactly who is handling their car, and that person is Xavier.
Before delivery, every repair is checked under our hexagonal LED inspection lights. That light shows color differences and small flaws, so we can fix them before you see them.
Getting to Our Shop from DeSoto
Our shop is at 615 Fort Worth Ave, just north of I-30 and west of downtown Dallas.
Hampton Road runs north from DeSoto through Oak Cliff and crosses Fort Worth Ave, so it is a simple route without freeways: follow Hampton Road north, then turn east on Fort Worth Ave toward our shop. If you prefer the highway, take I-35E north toward downtown, then I-30 west, and exit near Sylvan Avenue. Drive time depends on traffic.
We are open Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM, and closed on weekends.
Many DeSoto customers send photos first, so they know what to expect before they make the trip.
Common Repairs for DeSoto Drivers
DeSoto mixes quiet neighborhoods with busy commuter routes into Dallas. These are the repairs we see most:
Commuter collisions: Daily trips on I-35E and Hampton Road can lead to crashes. Our collision repair restores structure, panels and paint.
Rear bumper damage: Stop-and-go traffic often means a hit to the bumper. Our bumper repair fixes cracks and broken mounts.
Driveway and parking dents: Everyday parking leaves dings and creases. Our dent repair removes them.
Faded or chipped paint: Highway debris and the Texas sun wear down the finish. Our auto painting restores the color.
Spring hail: North Texas hail can hit hard in Southwest Dallas County. Our hail damage repair handles dents and paint.
If your repair goes through insurance, our insurance claims help keeps it simple.
If you are not sure what kind of repair you need, that is normal. Tell us what happened and send a few photos. We will explain the options before any work begins, so there are no surprises when you come up from DeSoto.
